Filled with supreme confidence and unshakable arrogance, the Pavonians descended upon Earth and took what they desired. The fate of those they abducted was irrelevant. To them, these captives were commodities—nothing more. Sentient beings, whether Ghurid or Human, existed to be bought, sold, and used at their masters’ whim.

Tyler Stanton, Edward Hohenberg, Ásgeir Pálsson, Adem van der Werte, and Marc Kleinschmidt were swept into this maelstrom. Each would descend into slavery by a different path. Each would be broken—or shaped—for a different purpose.

Earth, however, did not remain silent. She mobilized to reclaim her stolen sons, unleashing the full weight of her industrial and military power. For their hubris, the Pavonians would pay dearly. In their arrogance, they had awakened a sleeping giant—and now Nemesis was drawing near.
